Aged Care - Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
The aim of the CHSP is to help older people live as independently as possible while remaining at home – with a focus on working with you, rather than doing for you. It is about working on your strengths, capacity and goals to help you remain living independently and safely at home.
You may be eligible for Australian Government funded aged care services if you’re an older person (usually 65+ or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) finding it harder to do the things you used to do. You will need to have a face-to-face assessment of your care needs to find out if you are eligible (My Aged Care)
