Rotary Club of Thuringowa Central

Althea Projects, TDIC want to express our heartfelt thanks Rotary Club of Thuringowa Central who commenced their donations of accommodation starter kits this week. Each time someone is placed into a tenancy Rotary will provide the family with everything they need for basic home start up including kitchen cook wear, cutlery, crockery, glasses, cleaning equipment and cleaning products and a full bedding pack.

Darren was the first recipient of a pack and he expressed being overwhelmed with the support from Rotary when Mark and Eileen presented him with his pack (pictured from left, Mandi Houghton (case manager) Eileen from Rotary, Darren and Mark from Rotary).

Stacey and daughter Ellie also received a pack this week, pictured with Logan Frew (Case Manager). Ellie was rushing home to put her new doona cover on her new doona saying these were the best school holidays ever!!

TDIC appreciates the ongoing support from Thuringowa Central Rotary Club and looks forward to passing these amazing packs on to all clients that are setting up a new home.
